Here's my second major attempt at something lace-like. I did not run out of yarn this time. In fact, I have quite a bit left over. Maybe I'll knit a sock yarn scrap blanket someday.
The pattern is Simmer Dim, by Gudrun Johnson, and I used Malabrigo Sock in the color archangel. LOVE this colorway. The pattern name translates to 'evening' or 'twilight' and I think that is very descriptive of this colorway -- a lovely purple-orange sunset, maybe with some clouds on the horizon. I lost patience with the lace pattern at the bottom, so I bound off about 4 rows sooner than the pattern instructed. It's probably smaller than I'd really like, but there is no way on God's green earth that I am unpicking that picot bind off.
